Composed by Doug Norquist, pastor of the Buxton Lutheran Parish in North Dakota and graduated from Saint Olaf College where he majored in music. While studying at Luther Seminary to be a pastor, he began writing hymns and songs on biblical themes and texts. He has continued composing and writing throughout his ministry. He is a gifted singer, pianist, and flute player.
